The Judgment Seat of Christ pt.2 - Unending Grace Week 11
This 11th teaching of Unending Grace is Part 2 on the Judgement Seat of Christ. Many believers struggle to reconcile Grace with the Judgement seat of Christ. In this teaching we examine Romans 14 to see precisely what the Spirit of God was saying regarding standing before the Judgement seat of Christ. Many Christians are feared into dreading the judgement of Christ, where reading by the Spirit we learn that like all things that come from the Father, it is intended to bring life, understanding, and freedom, and not commendation.
Recap Points
It’s not about the Letter of the Law…it’s about the Spirit of the Word.
The reference to judgement in Romans is to mankind judging their brothers. (Romans 13:13-14)
God is able to make you stand. You WILL be made to stand and not fall. (Romans 4:4)
We are to put on Christ. To assume the same position that grace and love assumes. To identify with Christ. To see what He sees, and to do towards each other what He does towards us, and to say what He says.
The summary of the message on Judgement is for us to not judge one another. (Romans 14:13)
Those that live by the law and not by conviction, or faith, are living by the tree of the knowledge of good & evil.
Those that live by faith, live by the tree of life. (Romans 14:22 - 23)
