The Judgment Seat of Christ pt.1 - Unending Grace Week 10

This 10th teaching of Unending Grace is Part 1 of looking at the Judgement Seat of Christ.    Many believers struggle to reconcile Grace with the Judgement seat of Christ.   In this teaching we examine 2nd Corinthians 5:9 & 10 to see precisely what the Spirit of God was saying in these verses, and how like everything in scripture, the judgement seat of Christ is intended to bring life, understanding, and freedom, and not commendation.

Recap Points

  1. The Father affirms the identity of Jesus immediately following His baptism, and before Jesus performs any works of His ministry.  (2 Peter 1:17)

  2. The judgement seat of Christ is the throne of Grace, where we are to approach boldly (Hebrews 4:16)

  3. To appear before the judgement seat of Christ means to manifest, for our true identity to be made visible before Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:9) (2 Corinthians 5:19) (2 Corinthians 5:10)

  4. The judgement seat of Christ affirms our identity. (2 Corinthians 5:14)
