What are Groups?

Groups are small communities made up of people who are looking for something more. These groups are unified with one message and a common pursuit of teaching, family, relationships with one another and an encounter with Christ.

What about my kids?

At Word of Christ International Church we love families. Every week, we provide one or more family-friendly talking points to discuss with your kids that will help foster conversation about the things of God and plant a seed that can bring revelation, even to a child.

Look for a group with the “Family Friendly” designation. This indicates that this group welcomes children and has a separate room or space for kids while you’re meeting. It also lets those attending know that kids may be present and are part of the environment during the meeting. This does not mean that parents are off the hook. Parents are always responsible for their children. Contact the host for specific information.

What does a group meeting look like?

Every group is on the same journey and shares the same teaching. However, each group has their own personality. When you join a group, you will build genuine relationships, learn, and grow together. Most group meetings will have a discussion about the teaching/message of the week and will include a time of fellowship together. Do I just show up?

There is no commitment when joining a group. We suggest you first contact the group leader(s) to find out about their group and ask any question you may have.
