Identifying with the head - The Body of Christ Week 9

As members of the body of Christ, it is imperative that we understand our relationship with the head of the body, which is Jesus.   In this teaching we examine scripture to gain a deeper perspective of the core meaning of the body of Christ, and what it means to be together with Christ in this union.

1. You can’t separate the body from the head.  (Colossians 1:15 – 18)

2. The head of the body provides the identity for the whole body.

3. The mystery of Christ is being revealed to the body of Christ that finds their identity in Jesus, who is the head. (Colossians 1:25 - 27)
