Understanding the foreign land of Egypt - God’s Master Plan 14

In the 14th teaching of our series on God’s Master Plan, Rose Ramandi looks closely at what Egypt, Pharaoh, & the Passover signifies in God’s Master Plan for us, the Redeemed. We see Christ at the center of the Father’s redemption plan for Israel, and the body of Christ.

To Recap:

  1. Christ is our Passover lamb, signifying we ourselves have come out of Egypt.

  2. While we were in our Egypt we were slaves to sin.

  3. Egypt is the land of the flesh.   As Pharaoh ruled over Egypt, Sin ruled over us, prior to Christ our Passover.

  4. All the plagues that came from God were directed at Pharoah & Egypt, which to us is Sin and Bondage.

  5. When we take the Lamb of the Passover as unleavened bread, we are delivered from our Egypt.
