Debt vs. Grace - Unending Grace Week 3
In this 3rd teaching of Unending Grace, we look at how the scriptures describe the difference between living in debt, vs living in Grace. We examine the mindset that keeps us trapped in debt, and how freely God makes His grace available to all who believe. We also look at what is traditionally called the Lord’s Prayer and understand it from a completely new perspective of freedom.
Recap Points
To those who work, their wages are not counted as grace, but rather as debt. (Romans 4:4)
To those who believe they get credited righteousness by grace. (Romans 4:5, Romans 6:23)
Jesus teaches us to pray that the wages of our works be forgiven. (Matthew 6:12)
The measure of grace is not determined by the amount of debt of the one who is receiving it, but rather by the heart of the giver.
Believing is a righteous act.
