A Remnant In Exile - God’s Master Plan 17

In the 17th and final teaching of our series on God’s Master Plan, Masoud Ramandi looks at how Israel brings exile on themselves by creating alternate Gods. Even during exile, God preserves a remnant that brings redemption.

To Recap:

  1. The same Kingdom that was given to David, was torn away from Solomon because his heart had turned from the Lord to other Gods.

  2. In the same manner that Solomon’s heart had turned to other gods, the church can be lured away by another Jesus.

  3. The old testament shows us a pattern of God bringing redemption and Israel choosing another God

  4. Just as what remained of the nation of Israel was banished into exile in Babylon, so the church who has the promise of God can live in an alternate kingdom.

  5. Even while the nation of Israel is lost in exile, God preserves a remnant who hear His voice and maintain purity of heart and clarity of mind about who God is and what His promises are.
