Coming to the Throne of Grace - Unending Grace Week 20

In this teaching of our Unending Grace series, we look at what it means to come to the throne of grace.   We come to see that grace is not a passive accommodation.   It is not soft.  We see how scripture shows us that Grace is the only means by which we can carry existence in the manner that God intends.    Grace is both unending, and also not optional.

Recap Points

  1. Receiving an abundance of grace causes us to reign in life (Romans 5:17)

  2. Grace is the supernatural work of God in mankind that brings life & not death.

  3. The fact that grace is expressed as a throne signifies power & authority. (Hebrews 4:16)

  4. We are made kings to reign in life here on earth through Jesus because we receive the abundance of grace.

  5. There is nothing we can do to receive grace.  We receive grace at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:13)
